About

Grammar Research Group (GREG) brings together linguists from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, whose primary research focus is grammar. Under grammar we mean morphology, syntax, semantics, their mutual interfaces, and neighboring disciplines like phonology and pragmatics.

GREG is open to all sorts of theoretical and methodological approaches, combining the strengths of formal and functional theories, qualitative and quantitative methods, synchronic and diachronic perspective, corpus and experimental data.

GREG meets once a week or two to share and discuss ongoing research, theoretical and methodological issues. The meetings also provide a platform for presentations of visiting scholars.

The meetings in the Winter Semester 2025/26 will take place on Mondays at 12:30.
